Introducing Solarize Middle Georgia, a community-based solar energy and battery storage group-purchasing program that helps homeowners, businesses and nonprofits become more resilient, reduce energy expenses, and save on the cost of solar by leveraging the power of group purchasing — the more that participate, the greater the savings!

What is Solarize Middle Georgia?

Solarize Middle Georgia is a community-based, group-purchasing campaign that makes solar energy and battery storage technologies more affordable and accessible for the residents of middle Georgia. Solarize campaigns harness the power of the crowd to save some major green while residences and businesses go green.

The organizers of the campaign will seek competitive bids from the local solar community to ensure best-in-class materials are installed by qualified solar professionals for the lowest price.

What to expect from Solarize Middle Georgia:

• Savings: Big savings through bulk-purchase of materials, focus on a limited geographic area, and decreasing tiered pricing schedule.
• Vetted Contractor and Materials: Through a competitive bid process, Solarize Middle Georgia includes the selection of qualified solar contractors and best-in-class materials so you don’t have to.
• Free Solar Evaluations: Solarize Middle Georgia includes a free solar evaluation including preliminary site design, energy usage profile, and financial analysis. Get a 25-year outlook of the benefits of solar for your property.
• Education and Outreach: Several free workshops and events will be held throughout the duration of the campaign to inform the public of the benefits of solar. Participants will meet the contractors, learn about materials, and ask questions.
• Limited Time Campaign: To generate momentum and motivate procrastinators, Solarize Middle Georgia will run for a limited time only. Once the campaign ends, discount pricing goes away.
